Position Description

REPORTS TO: Chief Development Officer

The Database Coordinator is responsible for the donation tracking and recording process. This position will be the point person on the Development Team for donor data, reports, mailing lists, etc. This person will work closely with the Development Coordinator to ensure timely processing and acknowledgment of all gifts. He or she will also work closely with the finance team regularly.

• Enter, track and acknowledge donations with 100% accuracy
• Develops checks and balances to ensure accuracy of data entry
• Generate acknowledgment letters and receipts for gifts received in a timely manor
• Process Tribute/Memorial requests same day received
• Manages, coordinates and maintains the overall health of Raiser’s Edge
• Ability to balance monthly revenue with finance/accounting
• Demonstrate professionalism with donors and staff
• Understand and use software for maximum outcome
• Supervises data entry staff and administrative volunteers
• Volunteer support for our fundraising events
• Actively support the mission of St. Patrick Center
• Other duties as assigned

• Experience working with a donor database, Raiser’s Edge 7 or NXT preferred
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Experience in office procedures
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
• Strong willingness to learn new things and investigate solutions
