Position Description

The Database Coordinator is responsible for donor contact, entering gifts in a timely and accurate manner as well as other administrative tasks associated with the database, donations and acknowledgements. The Database Coordinator keeps the Database Project Manager informed of all issues and provides administrative support to the Development Team and Grants Team as needed.

• Count, enter, track and acknowledge donations including checks, cash, credit card processing and wire transfers with 100% accuracy
• Generate acknowledgment letters and receipts for gifts received in timely manor
• Process Tribute/Memorial requests same day received
• Assist in maintaining constituent records in Raiser’s Edge database
• File, organize and maintain donor files in preparation for annual audit
• Make frequent contact with donors to update giving information
• Demonstrate professionalism and exercise stewardship of resources, assets and reputation of St. Patrick Center
• Actively support the Mission of St. Patrick Center
• Work to maintain highest possible standards in all communications and representing the agency within the community
• Attend meetings as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience working with numbers and precise data entry
• Experience working with a donor database, Raiser’s Edge 7 or NXT preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Experience in office procedures
